Your privacy is very important to us. At Alias Marketing and Design we have a few fundamental principles that we follow:

  • We don’t ask you for personal information unless we truly need it.
  • We don’t share your personal information with anyone except to comply with the law, fulfill order or promotion requests, develop our products, protect our rights, resolve software issues with your account or our website.
  • We don’t store personal information on our servers unless required for the on-going operation of our site.

It is Alias Marketing and Design’s policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our website.

All information you provide to us is stored on secure web servers. In order to serve you most efficiently, Stripe & PayPal handle our credit card transactions. They receive the information needed to verify and authorize your payment card and to process your order. All such organisations are under strict obligation to keep your personal information private. Alias Marketing and Design does not store your card details for any reason.

Please note that when we provide you with a password or you choose one it is your responsibility to keep the password confidential. Also note that the transmission of information via the internet may not be completely secure and we cannot guarantee the security of any data during transmission. Customer uploaded artwork files are deleted automatically after 6 months unless the files are re-ordered.

Personal Information We Collect

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

Additionally, when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, and phone number.  We refer to this information as “Order Information. Payment information and credit card details are stored and encrypted securely via 3rd party payment processor Stripe.

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.

Facebook Messenger / Chatbot Marketing

If you contact Alias Marketing and Design via Facebook, Facebook Messenger, use Our Chatbot Demos or Interact with an Online advertisement from Alias Marketing and Design, we may respond with an automated response. By opting in to allow us to communicate with you and send you updates and continuing to interact with our automated Chatbot system you agree to subscribe to our automated Chatbot system and to allow us to send you relevant offers and updates.

All personal information entered into the chatbot will be stored in our automated Chatbot system software and on occasion may be exported to Google Sheets and other 3rd party software in order to help process your requests efficiently. We don’t share your personal information with anyone except to comply with the law, develop our products, protect our rights, resolve software issues with your account, our hosting server, our website or our automated Chatbot system.

Website Maintenance

3rd party consultants, other website designers & software developers may have access to the data on our website. On occasion, when it is absolutely necessary temporary access may be given to access the data on our hosting server and/or website to server support teams and /or software developers to assist resolve issues with software that helps our website function. These server support teams and /or software developers, who will be granted temporary access may or may not be resident in the E.U. subject to the maintenance work required/issue to be resolved.

IMPORTANT: This may result in the transfer of your data outside the E.U, to a “third country” which is a country outside of the European Economic Area (EEA) which may be deemed by the EU Commission not to provide adequate data protection. (Note: The European Economic Area is made up of the twenty-eight EU Member States as well as Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein.).

Website Visitors

Like most website operators, Alias Marketing and Design collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Alias Marketing and Design’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how Alias Marketing and Design’s visitors use its website. From time to time, Alias Marketing and Design may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.

For security purposes Alias Marketing and Design also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged in users and for users leaving comments on our blogs. Business Transfers

Comments and other content submitted to Akismet anti-spam service are not saved on our servers unless they were marked as false positives, in which case we store them long enough to use them to improve the service to avoid future false positives.

How long do we keep Personal Data – Client Engagements

We will retain your personal data for a minimum of 7 years. After the expiry of 7 years this data will be destroyed if it is no longer required for the lawful purpose(s) for which it was obtained.
